Joanne has 17 years experience of executive coaching, professional coaching supervision and coach supervisor trainer. She has over 2500 hours of coaching, supervision and psychotherapy training and has more than 5000 client hours. She works with individuals and teams across all sectors and supervises life coaches, executive coaches and business mentors. Her clients include Nedbank, Investec, RMB, Transnet, The HSRC, Lovelife, SEDA, Nedbank, Wits, USB, Eli Lilly, the UK National Health Service, the BBC and The Church of England.
Joanne qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 and has seven years audit, training and mentoring experience with PWC in London and Joburg predominantly in the financial sector. Joanne started her own management accounting business in London, working for clients including IMRO, Railpen and Eidos.
Joanne is a leading proponent of the professionalisation of coaching and coaching supervision. Joanne has held posts as Chair of the Gauteng Chapter for Comensa (Coaches and Mentors of South Africa), Chair of the Ethics Committee and Chair of the Coaching Supervision Committee. Joanne has run several coach supervisor trainings including the Coach Supervisors Certificate at WITS Business School and an internal coach supervisors programme for one of South Africa’s big four banks.
Joanne attained UKCP (UK Council of Psychotherapists) accreditation in 1999 following over 2500 hours of fully accredited experiential training and supervision. Joanne has over 400 hours experience of individual and group supervision. She is also an accredited Hays 360 ESCI (Emotional and Social Competence Inventory) assessor.
